Galeforce Audio G3 Series
Galeforce Audio G3 Series: Competition-Level Midrange Speakers Built for Clean, High-Output Sound
Getting loud is easy.
Getting loud while staying clean is where things get interesting.
The Galeforce Audio G3 Series was designed for audio enthusiasts and competitors who refuse to choose between sound quality and output. Available in both 6.5-inch and 8-inch sizes, with 4-ohm and 8-ohm versions, the G3 is an efficient, high-output dedicated midrange built to reproduce music with exceptional clarity—even when the volume gets serious.
And the results speak for themselves.
G3-equipped builds are competing and winning across multiple markets, including cars, trucks, motorcycles, Harley-Davidson baggers, Polaris Slingshots, custom show vehicles, and extreme SPL audio systems.
Whether you're chasing trophies or simply want an incredibly loud system that still sounds like music, the G3 was built with one goal:
High output. Low distortion. No unnecessary compromises.
High Output Is Only Half the Story
Anyone can build a speaker that gets loud.
The challenge is maintaining control and clarity as output increases.
That's one of the defining characteristics of the Galeforce Audio G3 Series. The G3 was engineered to combine excellent efficiency with extremely low distortion and high output, allowing the speaker to remain clean and articulate at volume levels where lesser midranges can begin to sound harsh, compressed, or uncontrolled.
That's especially important in competition audio.
A system shouldn't just be impressive because it's loud. Vocals should remain intelligible. Instruments should retain definition. Transients should stay sharp. The music should remain recognizable and enjoyable even when the system is operating at extreme output levels.
That's where the G3 separates itself from an ordinary pro-audio midrange.
Built for Competition Audio
The G3 Series has found its way into competition builds across virtually every part of the high-output audio world.
Cars.
Trucks.
Motorcycles and custom baggers.
Polaris Slingshots.
Show vehicles.
Extreme SPL builds.
Different platforms create completely different challenges, but the fundamentals remain the same: competitors need speakers capable of producing substantial output without sacrificing the clarity needed to build a balanced, impressive system.
The G3 has proven itself in exactly those environments, with G3-equipped builds taking home wins across multiple markets.
Competition success matters because a competition environment exposes weaknesses quickly. When speakers are pushed hard, efficiency, thermal capability, distortion, tuning, installation, and overall system design all become critical.
The G3 was built for that level of performance.
Exceptional Efficiency Means More Output From Your Power
Efficiency matters.
The more efficiently a speaker converts amplifier power into acoustic output, the easier it becomes to build a loud system without simply throwing more and more amplifier power at the problem.
The G3 6.5" is rated at 93dB sensitivity, while the larger G3 8" increases that to 95dB sensitivity.
That efficiency helps the G3 produce substantial output from available amplifier power and becomes particularly valuable in systems using multiple speakers.
On a motorcycle or Slingshot, that can help maximize output when electrical and installation space are limited.
In a car or truck competition build using large speaker arrays, efficiency can help turn available amplifier power into the acoustic output needed to compete.
And for everyday enthusiasts, it simply means you don't have to sacrifice sound quality to get a speaker that can get seriously loud.
4-Ohm and 8-Ohm Options Give Builders More Flexibility
Both the G3 6.5" and G3 8" are available in 4-ohm and 8-ohm configurations.
Why does that matter?
Because large high-output audio systems rarely use just one speaker.
Offering multiple impedance options gives installers significantly more flexibility when designing speaker arrays and matching the final load to an amplifier.
A straightforward build using fewer speakers may benefit from the 4-ohm G3.
Larger systems using multiple speakers per channel may benefit from the 8-ohm G3, allowing additional drivers to be wired together while maintaining an amplifier-friendly final impedance.
There's no universally "better" impedance. The right choice depends on the number of speakers, wiring configuration, amplifier, and desired final load.
That's exactly why we offer both.

At 95dB sensitivity, the G3 8" is an extremely efficient option for high-output systems.
It's an excellent choice for competition car audio, motorcycle saddlebags, custom baggers, Slingshots, door panels, speaker walls, show vehicles, and other systems where output and sound quality are equally important.
G3 6.5" vs. G3 8": Which Should You Choose?
Both G3 models share the same 200-watt RMS rating, 2-inch voice coil, dedicated midrange design, and availability in either 4-ohm or 8-ohm configurations.
The biggest differences come down to size, installation flexibility, and efficiency.
Choose the G3 6.5" when space is limited or when your build allows you to fit more 6.5-inch speakers into a given area. At 93dB sensitivity, it's still highly efficient and capable of serious output.
Choose the G3 8" when you have room for the larger driver and want to take advantage of its 95dB sensitivity and increased cone area.
There's also nothing saying an entire vehicle has to use only one size. Advanced builds can use speaker size and placement strategically based on available space and the overall goals of the system.
An Excellent Choice for Motorcycle & Bagger Audio
Motorcycle audio is one of the environments where the G3's combination of efficiency, clarity, and high output really makes sense.
At highway speeds, your audio system is competing against wind, road noise, engine noise, exhaust, and an open-air environment.
Simply getting louder isn't enough.
The system needs projection and clarity if you actually want to hear the music.
That's why high-efficiency dedicated midranges have become such an important part of serious Harley-Davidson and motorcycle audio systems, and why the G3 has become a competition-proven option in this market.
The availability of both 4-ohm and 8-ohm versions also gives motorcycle audio builders flexibility when designing systems with multiple speakers in fairings, lowers, saddlebags, lids, and custom pods.
Made for High-Output Car & Truck Audio
Cars and trucks give builders room to take the G3 concept even further.
Custom doors containing multiple G3s can create tremendous midrange output, while large speaker walls and competition installations can take advantage of both the speaker's efficiency and multiple impedance options.
For systems using several speakers per channel, the 8-ohm G3 can be particularly useful when designing the final impedance presented to the amplifier.
And because the G3 isn't designed simply to make noise, a properly designed and tuned system can retain the clarity and musical detail that separates a genuinely impressive build from one that's merely loud.
A Natural Fit for Polaris Slingshot Audio
The Polaris Slingshot sits somewhere between the worlds of motorcycle and car audio—and creates many of the same challenges as both.
You have an open cabin, substantial road and wind noise, limited installation space, and a need for serious acoustic output.
That combination makes an efficient, high-output midrange an excellent choice.
Whether installed in custom side panels, speaker pods, rear enclosures, or another purpose-built location, the G3's combination of efficiency, low distortion, and high output makes it exceptionally well suited for high-performance Slingshot audio systems.
And just like motorcycles, Slingshots have become a serious competition platform.
The G3 is right at home there.
Pair the G3 With a Dedicated High-Frequency Driver
It's important to understand what the G3 is—and what it isn't.
The G3 is a dedicated midrange, not a conventional full-range coaxial speaker.
That is intentional.
Allowing the G3 to concentrate on the frequencies it was designed to reproduce lets builders create a much more capable multi-way system by pairing it with dedicated high-frequency drivers.
For example, pairing G3 midranges with the Galeforce Audio T25 Super Tweeter gives builders the ability to create a high-output multi-way system where each driver concentrates on the frequencies it reproduces best.
Add proper crossover control and amplification, and you have the foundation for an extremely capable competition-level audio system.
Pair G3s With the K1200.4 for Serious System Control
The G3 also pairs naturally with the Galeforce Audio K1200.4 Korean-built 4-channel amplifier.
The K1200.4 provides substantial four-channel power along with an unusually flexible onboard crossover network.
Its adjustable high-pass and low-pass filters can be used together to create bandpass crossovers, allowing builders to define the frequency range being sent to dedicated midranges like the G3.
That gives you the ability to protect the speaker from frequencies it doesn't need to reproduce while also controlling where the dedicated high-frequency drivers take over.
A DSP can provide even greater control, but the combination of G3 midranges, dedicated tweeters, and a capable amplifier/crossover network gives builders a strong foundation for a clean, extremely high-output system.
Why a Paper Cone?
The G3 uses a paper cone, and that's a deliberate performance choice.
Paper remains an extremely effective material for dedicated high-performance midrange speakers because of its combination of low moving mass and excellent acoustic characteristics.
In an application where efficiency, transient response, clarity, and output matter, those characteristics are valuable.
There is a tradeoff: the G3 is not marketed as a weather-resistant speaker.
For installations on motorcycles, Slingshots, or other vehicles where the speaker could be exposed to the elements, builders should consider placement and protection from direct water exposure.
If weather resistance is the priority, the Galeforce F1 and F3 Series are designed for those environments.
If the priority is competition-level midrange performance, efficiency, low distortion, and serious output, that's where the G3 earns its place.
Built to Be Reconed
Competition audio equipment gets used hard.
That's why serviceability matters.
Both G3 models are designed to be easily reconed, allowing the soft parts of the speaker to be serviced rather than treating the entire driver as disposable.
For competitors and enthusiasts who regularly push their systems, that can make a significant difference over the life of the build.
We didn't design the G3 to sit quietly behind a factory door panel.
We designed it to be used.
Sound Quality and SPL Don't Have to Be Opposites
There's a misconception in high-output audio that you have to choose a side.
Either build something that sounds good—or build something that gets loud.
We don't agree.
The entire philosophy behind the Galeforce Audio G3 Series is that high output doesn't need to come at the expense of clarity.
An efficient speaker with low distortion gives a skilled builder the foundation to create a system that can be aggressively loud without turning music into noise.
That's what has made the G3 such a strong performer across cars, motorcycles, Slingshots, and other competition platforms.
Which Galeforce G3 Is Right for Your Build?
If you need a compact, efficient competition midrange, choose the G3 6.5" in the impedance that best fits your system design.
If you have room for a larger speaker and want 95dB sensitivity and greater cone area, step up to the G3 8".
Choose 4 ohms or 8 ohms based on the number of speakers, wiring configuration, amplifier, and final impedance you're trying to achieve.
Whichever configuration you choose, the mission remains the same:
Exceptional efficiency. Extremely low distortion. Serious output.
From daily-driven street systems to trophy-winning competition builds, the Galeforce Audio G3 Series was designed for people who want their systems to do more than just get loud.
They want them to sound incredible doing it.
