Galeforce Audio T25 Super Tweeter: Extreme Clarity, High Output & Competition-Level Performance

A great high-output audio system shouldn't just be loud.

It should be clear.

When we developed the Galeforce Audio T25 Super Tweeter, we weren't interested in building another inexpensive tweeter designed around a single impressive number on a specification sheet. We wanted a high-frequency driver capable of delivering extreme clarity, serious output, a wide usable frequency range, excellent power handling, and the reliability required for demanding audio systems.

That meant making choices that cost more.

One of the most important was the T25's thicker titanium diaphragm.

Rather than reducing material where it mattered to save a few dollars, we focused on building a diaphragm capable of maintaining control when the tweeter is pushed hard. Combined with a 1-inch voice coil and highly efficient motor structure, the result is a super tweeter rated at an impressive 104 dB sensitivity with a 3,000 Hz–20,000 Hz frequency range.

Whether you're building a competition car audio system, a high-output Harley-Davidson bagger, a Polaris Slingshot, truck, custom show vehicle, or another serious audio build, the T25 was designed to deliver the highs with authority—without sacrificing the clarity that makes music worth listening to.

Why Titanium?

The diaphragm is one of the most important components in any high-frequency driver.

For the T25, we chose titanium because the goal wasn't simply maximum output. We needed a diaphragm that could combine low moving mass with the rigidity and strength necessary to remain controlled at high output levels.

But we didn't stop at simply specifying a titanium diaphragm.

The T25 uses a thicker titanium diaphragm as part of our focus on power handling, reliability, and controlled high-frequency reproduction.

That choice costs more to produce.

We believe it's worth it.

When a high-frequency driver is being pushed in a serious motorcycle, car, Slingshot, or competition audio system, saving a few dollars on one of its most critical components isn't where we want to compromise.

The T25 was designed around performance first.

104 dB Sensitivity: Serious Output Without Wasting Power

The Galeforce Audio T25 is rated at 104 dB sensitivity at 1 watt/1 meter.

That's an extremely efficient high-frequency driver.

High sensitivity is particularly important when you're trying to balance high-frequency output against an array of powerful midrange speakers.

If you've built a system using multiple high-output midranges, your tweeters need enough acoustic output to keep up. Otherwise, the system can become overwhelmingly midrange-heavy as volume increases.

At 104 dB sensitivity, the T25 is designed for exactly this type of high-output environment.

That makes it an excellent choice for systems using Galeforce G3 midranges, other high-efficiency pro-audio mids, multi-speaker door panels, motorcycle fairings and saddlebags, Slingshots, speaker walls, and competition-level systems.

A Wide 3kHz–20kHz Frequency Range

The T25 has a published frequency range of:

3,000 Hz–20,000 Hz

That wide high-frequency capability gives system designers considerable flexibility when integrating the T25 with dedicated midrange speakers.

This is particularly valuable in multi-way systems.

Instead of forcing a midrange speaker to reproduce frequencies it doesn't handle as efficiently, a properly designed crossover can allow the midrange and T25 to each concentrate on the frequencies they're best suited to reproduce.

The result can be greater output, improved clarity, and better overall system balance.

Power Handling Depends on Your Crossover

One of the most important things to understand about high-frequency driver power handling is that crossover frequency matters.

The T25's published power ratings reflect that.

T25 Power Ratings

Above 800 Hz:

  • 35 watts AES

  • 75 watts program power

Above 1,500 Hz:

  • 45 watts AES

  • 95 watts program power

This illustrates an important principle: keeping unnecessary lower-frequency energy out of a tweeter allows it to handle more useful power within its intended operating range.

In a properly designed high-output system, the crossover is part of the speaker's protection.

That's why we strongly recommend designing the crossover around the system, amplifier power, desired output, and the other drivers being used rather than simply connecting a super tweeter to an unrestricted amplifier channel.

An Ideal Match for Galeforce G3 Midranges

The Galeforce G3 and T25 make an extremely capable combination.

Our G3 6.5" and G3 8" are dedicated high-efficiency midrange speakers designed for tremendous output with extremely low distortion.

The T25 takes over the high-frequency duties.

That allows each driver to do what it does best:

G3: High-output, low-distortion midrange.

T25: Efficient, powerful, exceptionally clear high-frequency reproduction.

With proper amplification and crossover settings, the combination creates the foundation for an audio system capable of getting extremely loud while still sounding like music.

That's especially valuable in competition systems, where output matters—but a balanced, clear system separates a well-designed build from one that's simply making noise.

Take Advantage of the K1200.4's Crossover Network

For builders using active amplification, the Galeforce Audio K1200.4 offers another interesting way to integrate the T25.

Its onboard crossover network provides adjustable high-pass and low-pass filtering extending into the kilohertz range, allowing builders to divide frequencies between dedicated midranges and high-frequency drivers without necessarily relying entirely on an external DSP.

In a G3/T25 system, for example, the amplifier's crossover flexibility can help define where the G3 stops playing and where the T25 begins.

A DSP provides even greater tuning capability, but having extensive crossover control available directly from the amplifier gives installers another powerful tool for building a properly divided multi-way system.

Available in 4-Ohm and 8-Ohm Versions

Just like the Galeforce G3 Series, the T25 is available in both 4-ohm and 8-ohm configurations.

That gives builders more freedom when designing systems using multiple high-frequency drivers.

A smaller system may work perfectly with 4-ohm T25s.

A large competition build using multiple tweeters may benefit from 8-ohm versions, depending on how the drivers are wired and the impedance the amplifier needs to see.

Neither impedance is inherently better.

Offering both simply gives experienced builders more options to design the system correctly rather than designing the system around a single available impedance.

Multiple Mounting Options Make Installation Easier

Performance doesn't mean much if a product is unnecessarily difficult to install.

That's why the T25 includes multiple mounting options and brackets, giving installers flexibility when determining how and where the tweeter will be positioned.

That's particularly useful in custom installations.

Motorcycles may require tweeters in fairings, lowers, saddlebags, or custom pods.

Slingshots have their own unique mounting challenges.

Cars and trucks may use A-pillars, door panels, dashboards, speaker walls, or fully custom fabricated locations.

Competition builds can require completely unique tweeter orientation and placement.

Providing multiple mounting methods helps installers adapt the T25 to the vehicle instead of forcing the vehicle to adapt to the tweeter.

Easily Reconeable Because Serious Equipment Gets Used

We don't expect competition-level audio equipment to spend its life playing quietly.

The T25 was designed to be used—and sometimes used hard.

That's why serviceability matters.

The T25 is designed with a replaceable diaphragm/reconeable assembly, making it possible to service the high-frequency driver rather than treating the entire tweeter as disposable.

For competitors, dealers, installers, and enthusiasts who put serious hours on their systems, that can make a meaningful difference over the life of the build.

Quality equipment should be built to perform.

It should also be built to be serviced.

Built for Motorcycle & Harley-Davidson Audio

A motorcycle may be one of the toughest environments for high-frequency reproduction.

At highway speeds, your audio system has to compete with wind, road noise, engine noise, exhaust, and an open-air listening environment.

High frequencies also play an important role in perceived detail and clarity.

That's where the T25's combination of 104 dB sensitivity and high-frequency output becomes particularly valuable.

In a properly designed Harley-Davidson or motorcycle audio system, T25s can provide the high-frequency projection necessary to complement powerful midrange speakers and keep music clear as speed and volume increase.

Their compact dimensions and multiple mounting options also make them easier to integrate into custom motorcycle builds.

Made for Competition Car & Truck Audio

In high-output car and truck audio, a pair of conventional tweeters may struggle to keep pace with an array of efficient midranges.

The T25 was built for a different level of system.

Its 104 dB sensitivity, titanium diaphragm, 1-inch voice coil, and 20kHz upper frequency capability make it an excellent choice for multi-way systems using powerful pro-audio-style midranges.

Whether you're building custom doors, a speaker wall, a demo vehicle, or a competition system, the T25 gives you the high-frequency output needed to complete the system.

A Natural Fit for Polaris Slingshot Audio

Like motorcycles, Polaris Slingshots combine open-air listening with road and wind noise.

And like cars, they can support elaborate custom audio installations with multiple speakers and significant amplifier power.

That makes them a natural home for the T25.

Pairing efficient high-output midranges with T25 super tweeters can provide the projection and clarity needed for a Slingshot audio system to remain impressive both parked at a show and moving down the road.

Why Choose the Galeforce Audio T25?

There are cheaper ways to build a super tweeter.

That wasn't our goal.

We didn't want to save a few dollars by cutting corners on one of the most important components in a high-output audio system.

Instead, we focused on the characteristics that actually matter:

Extreme clarity.

104 dB efficiency.

Serious high-frequency output.

A wide 3kHz–20kHz frequency range.

A thicker titanium diaphragm.

Excellent power handling when properly crossed over.

4-ohm and 8-ohm options.

Multiple mounting solutions.

Easy serviceability.

And reliability when the system is being pushed.

The result is a super tweeter built for everything from an aggressive street system to a trophy-winning competition build.

High Output Doesn't Have to Sound Harsh

This is ultimately what the T25 is about.

A high-output system shouldn't become painful or uncontrolled simply because the volume knob moves clockwise.

The goal should always be to maintain clarity, definition, balance, and musical detail while increasing output.

That's why we invested in the materials and construction of the T25 rather than designing it solely around cost.

Whether you're pairing T25s with Galeforce G3 midranges, building a custom Harley-Davidson audio system, competing with a car or truck, showing off a Slingshot, or creating your own extreme high-output build, the T25 gives your system the high-frequency performance needed to finish the job.

Don't just get loud.

Get loud. Stay clear. Feel the Storm.
